Hundreds of years ago, the Builders built the city of Ember. In Ember, there is no sun and the only light comes from big street lights. But the lights are going off more and more often, and there isn´t enough food for everyone. Then two teenagers, Lina and Doon, find some old "instructions". Is there a way out of Ember after all...?
