WE TAKE THE ROLE OF

Escape the Castle is an escape room game for the English Class. Students take the role of a CSI team and must discover and solve the mysteries behind the clues.

​

The game combines physical and virtual challenges and involves investigating and resolving puzzles. At the end of the game, once all the challenges have been solved and students have got a general view of the case, they are asked to carry out a final task.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Virtual materials:

• This Web Page.

• A web browser

• A google Form to leave the team´s answers.

• Apps installed on smart phone: ROAR and QR reader.

Physical materials:

• Two four-digit padlock​s

• Two three-digit padlocks.

• Five boxes.

• Red Reveal.

• A black light torch.

• An Invisible ink pen.

• A mirror.

• A mask.

• Extra reading texts.

ESTIMATED TIME:

Our class periods last 60 minutes. After experiencing the escape room 2 sessions should be enough to cover all the challenges as long as students know beforehand what they are expected to do and know the dynamics to answer questions on the google form.
